Soccer season has kicked off and Bailey played in his first tournament last weekend. His team played four games in three days. They lost one, tied one and won two. The weather was beautiful. Great for the parents on the sidelines but he said it was a little too toasty for him. Here in the Puget Sound, anything over 70 degrees is considered a heat wave and the weather on Saturday was 75. He drank 5 bottles of water on Saturday during his two games.
This is his first year playing for a Select team and he has improved a lot just in the last couple of months. It's definitely a different dynamic out on the field. The kids are all playing more skillfully and it's a much more aggressive playing field. It's been fun watching the evolution.
