My baby turned 9 on April 2nd. We celebrated her birthday with her friends this past weekend. With her birthday always falling during Spring Break we celebrate it later so everyone will be in town.
She decided she wanted to have a Judy Moody party. This was a pretty loose theme. I picked up some plain tote bags in a variety of colors. Each place at the table had a bag and a printout of various Judy Moody illustrations they could replicate. There were a variety of fabric paints and pens for them to use to decorate their bags.
The kids had fun decorating their bags with crazy sayings and pictures. They played some foosball downstairs and then enjoyed their cupcakes and ice cream cake.
I tried to include some Judy Moody themed items in the goody bags. Disguises (Judy Moody Girl Detective), grad cap bubbles (Judy Moody goes to college), and Flag wrapper mints (Judy Moody Declares Independence). I included a glow stick and M&M's just because.
They tried on their glasses and enjoyed making silly faces for their photos.
